Proud To Be a Refugee

Because I'm fighting for life , a better future I know I deserve even though my country and the whole world have failed me but I'm not afraid to seek them in spite of all the losses I had.
I'm a fighter who will prove herself anywhere, everywhere , no matter what the obstacles could be.
I know that because I'm strong enough to confront all the people who doubt me for my nationality without knowing how much it took me to have the strength to start all over in a new culture , away from the people I love and things that I was raised on.
I believe that I'm still capable to take on life and face this crisis with high hopes.
So if you try to take a step back you'll see that I'm just a man , a woman or a child....a human like you who belongs to this world and needs nothing but to be loved and be safe.
Yes I'm a refugee and proud to be and from now on the word refugee will take a new meaning,
a meaning for a strong fighter and a dreamer !
